Have you ever been told you need to use your lower body more in your swing? If so, Michael Kolar has a great sequencing drill that will help you unlock more speed in your swing and add distance to your drives.

Martin, you used the 9 iron for the bump & run. What is a minimum & maximum distance you'd use this club for this type of shot, please? Thank you! Same question for the 60 degree Lob wedge?
How come when I do this drill and get out on the courses that I hook everything to the left, what am I doing wrong ?
Hi David, you could be pulling to soon with the arms in the start of your transition. Slight pause at the top of the swing and then the body first. Give it a shot.
Does the same tip work for tee shots with a driver or 3 wood?
Yes it does David.
Pulling around that early seems to generate a tough inside out swing plane, how can we adjust for that?
David, if this is happening to you, adjust your body lines more to the right if you are a right handed player, or you could be pulling to soon with the arms instead of the body.
Great simple big muscle rules. Even for us over-65 types. :) The big muscles are often not toned for us, but are still our best bet for distance without injury. Thx
Thank you!
